The trap with most “in gym” aerobic efficiency work is that people see the totality of the work and they try and get it done as fast as possible; turning efficiency intention into output signal. This is the opposite of what we want. This session is long on purpose. You should maintain a “conversational pace”, and instea dof thinking about completing it, give yourself a time domain. So if you haven’t completed it within an hour, pull the plug. This isn’t about a beat down, its about expanding what you can tolerate. Put on a good playlist, one that matches the feeling you want during the effort, turn the lights down or move the machines into the sun and enjoy.
